Lamborghini teased a new ‘Super Sports Car’ for Frankfurt last week, and we mulled over the possibilities of what Lamborghini were going to reveal. But what we didn’t consider was a last-hurrah for the Gallardo in the form of the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. We speculated that Lamborghini may be taking a production version of the Sesto Elemento to Frankfurt.

The company can turn any Dodge Challenger into a '70s-inspired pavement burner, though they leave the actual pavement-burning modifications up to you: the Superbird/Daytona kit is an appearance upgrade only. The former chief designer at Morgan, has formed his own design consultancy, Matthew Humphries Design, in a bid to branch out into the worlds of bespoke cars and product design. Humphries will continue his relationship with Morgan in a partnership that will see the newly formed company help to develop future models for the independent British sports car manufacturer.
